What Opportunities Are There for Photovoltaics Today?

This will be discussed in Padua on October 26, 2018, at the important technical conference titled “Photovoltaics 2018-2019: (Re)discovering Opportunities and Challenges – Preview of the New FER Decree.” The event is organized by the photovoltaic module manufacturer FuturaSun, in collaboration with inverter manufacturers Fronius and monitoring systems provider SunReport. The international renewable energy legal expert Rödl & Partner will also participate.

In light of the new renewable energy decree (FER) release, FuturaSun invites sector operators, energy managers, designers, and installers to a technical meeting to analyze and explore all the opportunities currently offered by the photovoltaic sector.

To achieve Italy’s decarbonization goals for 2030, it will be necessary not only to build new photovoltaic plants but also to recover the production yield lost due to technological decay of obsolete and underperforming systems.

Key topics to be addressed by industry experts include:

New Incentives: Initial technical and legal comments on the new decree to better navigate this phase. The revitalization of the photovoltaic sector will contribute positively to the country’s growth. Existing Systems: Quality of modules and their efficiency, technical operating issues, and monitoring and control technologies. Revamping and Repowering: Monitoring and extraordinary maintenance interventions on plants to improve profitability. Focus on GSE directives. The Padua conference is the third stop, after Bologna and Milan, on the tour organized by FuturaSun, a dynamic company based in Cittadella (PD) that designs and produces high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, marketed in 40 countries worldwide.

The event will also feature contributions from three other distinguished entities operating daily in the sector:

Fronius: An Austrian company leading in the production of inverters, as well as charging systems and industrial automation – Italian branch. SunReport: An innovative software company from Gorizia specializing in renewable energy. Rödl & Partner: A leading international consulting firm in legal, tax, and business matters – Padua office. The conference will take place at the Hotel Best Western Galileo, Via Venezia 30, Padua, on Friday, October 26, 2018, from 14:00 to 18:30.

Participation is free, but registration is mandatory.
